Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell the materials? Yes, some materials, others we give away. Currently the prices paid for waste materials are extremely low. We are actually losing money from selling materials (sorting and transportation cost). However, if a price is paid we are sure that materials are going to a processing plant for proper recycling!
Are the materials you collect properly recycled? Yes, as stated above, companies pay us for our materials. This assures us that they are being sent to a processing mill and recycled properly. Please note, some materials we collect are not recycled, they are reused!
Is your company local? Yes we are! Our facility is in the industrial park of Coldwater, MI. We are open by appointment only.
My business or organization has a need for materials that can be reused, can we get them from you? We collect all sorts materials that can be reused. Cardboard boxes, foam peanuts, bubble wrap, pallets, and more. Give us a call and let us know what you need!
Do you collect tires, TV’s, or other hazardous waste? Sorry we do not. However give us a call and we’ll try to point you to someone who does.
Lots of recycling companies offer fundraising opportunities, do you? Currently we offer a cell phone recycling fundraiser. We will pay $0.50 per cell phone, any make or model, working or not. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Will you speak with our community group about what you do? Spreading awareness is one of our most important goals. We would be happy to speak with groups regarding recycling and other environmental topics.
I have a recycling question, can you help? Gladly! Please check out our recycling help page for Branch County, MI recycling opportunities. Questions submitted to sam @ bizaidllc.com (no spaces) will be promptly answered.
Do you shred paper? No. Due to strict government and insurance guidelines we are not able to offer that service. Along those lines, we can not accept responsibility for confidential information contained on our clients recyclables, we do collect shredded paper.
Are your activities insured? Yes, Biz Aid LLC carries commercial general liability insurance. Not insured for injury resulting from confidential information that has not been properly destroyed, (neither is your current waste hauler).
